Very tasty and healthy food! Very good selection of vegetarian dishes, if you want there is also lamb and chicken. Everything is made by hand and the falafel is made by ourselves. Therefore it can take a little longer if there is a lot going on, but the fresh food is worth waiting for every minute! The best thing to do is to call shortly beforehand and order. The wraps are good to take away, we like to stop by for lunch and take the food to the office.

Where are the six stars on here? I wish every restaurant manager had the same attitude to food as the owner of this place!

Very delicious food and an incredibly friendly, hard-working owner! The food looks very authentic, fresh and tastes fantastic to me, the prices are more than fair and there is even free tea with the meal. The owner / cook is friendly and accommodating, and brings the food to the table very quickly. Extra requests or changes to the dishes are also very nice. Everything is very lovingly furnished, but for me it is more of a bistro and not a classic restaurant.

"La Rose", which follows a similar concept, is even very close by. Service: Basically, self-service is the order of the day. Orders are placed at the checkout. In our case, the ordered food was brought to the place. The gentlemen in the "Rote Beete" are a bit reserved but friendly. The ordered hummus plate arrived at the table very quickly. Everything OK! 3/5 Eat: I can only recommend ordering a halloumi or falafel plate. You get so many different facets of Syrian cuisine at once that it's just fun to eat. The whole thing is nicely arranged. Whether the eggplant paste, the hummus, the potatoes or a variety of vegetables. It all tastes really good. 4/5 Price-performance ratio: For the fact that you get a nicely arranged plate with a wide variety of delicacies, € 11.50 for the halloumi plate is perfectly fine. The ingredients are high quality - this can also be reflected in the price. But there are also solutions for the smaller, quicker hunger: You can have the chicken wrap in your hand for € 5, for example. 4/5 Conclusion: If you ask yourself the question: "Beetroot" or "La Rose"? My answer is: both. Just alternate. Even if, to be fair, I have to say that I think "La Rose" is a tad better. But then we are really at the minimal difference.

Very friendly and welcoming service, and very nice meal. We arrived in Karlsruhe a little later than expected, but ten minutes before closing we were still welcome and we were warmly welcomed by the owner. The food was really great, for almost no money.

My husband and I find the restaurant to be contemporary for all occasions, whether with a partner, friends or clan; In the restaurant you get both as well as: friendly and fast service. Here it has never happened to us that a dish is cold on the table. The choice of drinks leaves nothing to be desired. We were completely pleasantly surprised. We'll both be back for sure.

One of the best falafel place you will ever visit. I come from Berlin but the food offers here along with the cook that makes it simply makes it better . Baklava from Rote Bete is highly recommend.

I’m usually do not expect anything special from a fast food place, but this place is amazing. They provide very delicious falafels and have even vegan options. The portions are decent and are prices at around 5€. The service is just adorable. Very kind and gentle are they taking the orders and always smiling when they bring your fresh prepared food to your table.

Simply good! Delicious! Very nice and accommodating! Can only recommend the falafel salad. Flatbread I think it is none but on demand I was immediately brought to the square. Free of charge. The prices are okay, as everything is fresh and tastes good. Go and have lunch there more often!

My favorite falafel sandwich in town! Chef is very friendly and clearly passionate about quality ingredients. I typically eat there a sandwich, which is 5 euros, then bring one home for my wife who is obviously pretty happy about it too ;-)

Amazing food. The Chef loves what he's doing and you can taste it in his food. The mix or different tastes prepared in every dish are just perfect. Friendly and welcoming stuff and atmosphere. No place for a quick bite. Here you come to enjoy your stay stay. Can't wait to come back.
